About ME
I have over 30 years experience in advising, selling, and implementing complex IT programs and solutions.
The last 17 years I was instrumental in the growth of Quistor. Developing Quistor from a local IT company with 10 people to a global operating company with over 250 people and 12 offices worldwide. My main role in Quistor was sales management, business development and strategic alliances.
Before Quistor I worked at Deloitte Consulting and various smaller companies.
I like sharing my experience by mentoring / coaching young people and advising start-up companies. I am passionate about innovation and new technologies. I am focused on results but manage with respect, honesty and integrity at all times.
On a personal note; I am married, have two sons and live in Bergen op Zoom. I am a volunteer at Kiwanis and the Dutch Cancer Society. Besides enjoying the good things in life with family and friends, I like skiing, playing tennis, golf and do some fitness.

My company name, MetisEdge, is inspired by Greek mythology and the Métis people of Canada. Metis was the goddess of wisdom and craft, renowned for her intelligence and shapeshifting abilities. The Métis people are known for their resourcefulness and creativity. At MetisEdge, I combine these sources of inspiration to provide innovative and adaptive solutions to my clients.

The word “Edge” is also a synonym for Brink, my surname. Brink represents the edge of a precipice or cliff – a symbol of adventure, determination, and risk-taking.
